Scary stats pretty design

Wooo!! Yaaah India. I had no idea the great stuff that was coming from my mother land until now. Lotso talent.

These series of posters/ads are very well designed. They use effective graphics to convey the stats in a dramatic and effective way. The typography is handled really well, there is a good contrast between the weights and sizes. The colour palette in each ad is used to complement the subject matter, which works well.

Overall, a great campaign by BBDO India.

This campaign has a BOUNTY of genius ideas. The image is intriguing.. some people might not get the idea at first glance but upon further inspection they will realize that the liquid is contained by the paper towel. Its cheeky and effective. And by keeping the design simple the ad in my opinion has more visual impact and does not confuse the audience.

Kudos goes to Publis Agency in Dallas.

This logo design is very appropriate for the company. The colour palette and image go with the cutesy aesthetic that the company is trying to achieve. Not too sure about the outline on the typeface. It does help the really subtle and muted blue to stand out but perhaps the colour could be darkned slightly to achieve the same effect.

what a beaut!!

very simple yet effective idea. the use of watercolour like graphics works really well against the background. its muted yet dynamic enough to make an interesting visual. the typography is handled really well even though the font is condensed (which I always find difficult to work with).

Ok maybe I’m becoming obsessed with package design.

This design uses a knockout in their design, and I have to say, in my opinion it is handled really well. Simple concept enhanced by clever design. It makes sense to show the actual oil in the bottle as the droplet graphic. So the knockout works well for this reason. Also makes it cost effective since there is only one ink being used.

Another AH-Mazing example of wine bottle label design.

Simple, bold, dynamic, high in contrast and visual impact. The letter faces are used in a clever manner and add to the visual impact by the use of a bold, all caps weight.

This is a refreshing change from the usual maple leaf shaped maple syrup bottles often seen in souvenier shops. Theres more to Canada than the leaf! Still using the maple leaf to accent and show the products background, the bright red maple leaf graphics add that recognizable element on the design. The same also helps create a contrast against the mostly dark brown colour palette. The outline text is handled well on the logo and there is obvious hierarchy as well as contrast in the typeface with the use of serifs, sans serifs and size. The wood accent is a nice touch and so is the white texture strip at the bottom that helps readability.
